Arthrex AR-1662BC-7 BioComposite SwiveLock Suture Anchor 7 x 19.5mm
with Forked Tip Peek Eyelet & #2 Fiberwire
Part # AR-1662BC-7 Exp 1/17
The Arthrex AR-1662BC-7 BioComposite SwiveLock Suture Anchor are designed for all-arthroscopic proximal biceps tenodesis to save steps and minimize the length of the procedure. The implants feature a PEEK forked tip that is used to steer the biceps tendon to the bottom of the bone socket without the need to externalize or whipstitch the tendon. Strong fixation is obtained by simply advancing the preloaded Arthrex AR-1662BC-7 BioComposite SwiveLock Suture Anchor.
For surgeons who prefer a traditional whipstitching approach, the BioComposit SwiveLock Tenodesis Screws are also available with a PEEK closed eyelet.
The Birmingham Biceps™ technique for subpectoral tenodesis was designed to minimize the potential for postoperative humeral fractures by placing a small 5.5 mm PEEK SwiveLock Tenodesis implant near the top of the pectoralis at a newly defined anatomical landmark, the Pallium Pectoralis. The implant system includes everything required for the procedure, making it convenient for the surgeon and their staff.
In Perfect sealed condition but past expiration date. Not for human use in the US.
Expiration dates have mostly to do with sterilization and not the integrity of the product. The manufacturers sterilize the products after they are packaged and it lasts so many years. The only products we caution customers about are ones that are absorbable or drug coated.
